This little beach with calm waters, Praia da Marina (Marina Beach), is located right at the mouth of the River Arade and is separated from Praia da Rocha by the western jetty of the river harbour.
Chill out on one of the many loungers on the sands and sip a delicious cocktail from the beach bar. The view over the harbour on the River Arade is splendid and you can watch the yachts coming and going, and the fishing boats making their way back to Portimão surrounded by hordes of squalling seagulls.
Access to the Portimão Marina Beach is via the footpath and cycle lane that runs the full length of Portimão Marina, where you will find a variety of tourist facilities and shops, as well as various services related to water sports.
