The donkeys at Burro Ville are Mirandesa donkeys, a native Portuguese breed characteristic of the region of Terra de Miranda. Burro Ville is therefore helping to preserve a breed that was previously at risk of extinction.
The distinguishing features of Burro Ville’s fluffy crew are their long, brown fur, their big ears, and the white patches on their muzzles and around their eyes.
