Festivities in honor of Queen Santa Isabel

The Festivities in honor of Queen Santa Isabel, patron saint of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Alvor will mark the days between July 4th and 7th in Alvor.

Every night, in the riverside area, from 19:00 pm, there is a festival, fair and handicrafts/food and drinks lots of entertainment!

In addition to religious ceremonies, the poster includes dances and musical shows that promise to liven up the nights!

Day 4 (Thursday)

5:45 pm:   Mass in honor of Queen Santa Isabel

Location: Chapel of Mercy of Alvor

Day 5 (Friday)

9:00 pm:  Ball with Roberto Bernardino 

11:00 pm:  Show with Eduardo Santana.

Day 6 (Saturday)

9:00 pm: Dance with Filipe Romão

11:00 pm: Show with Ruth Marlene

Day 7 (Sunday)

8:00 am-1:00 pm:  Market in the Ria

4:00 pm: Procession ( from the church of mercy to the main church of Alvor)

4:30 pm: Solemn  Mass with blessing of bread and roses

Location: Mother Church              

18:00 p.m. – Solemn procession through the streets of Vila 

21:00 p.m. Ball with Humberto Silva

23:00 p.m. Show with Tanya
