On the 72nd anniversary, the Air Force heads to Portimão

On the 72nd Anniversary, the Air Force chooses Portimão to commemorate its history.

Created on July 1, 1952, the Air Force annually celebrates the anniversary in different places, especially those where its physical presence is not permanent, allowing it to reach all citizens.

In this context, this year the Air Force heads to Portimão, where it will hold a series of events between June 29th and July 7th.

There will be no shortage of reasons to visit Portimão, which this year celebrates the centenary of its elevation to city, and to be closer to the Air Force.

One of the most amazing activities is the race at the Autódromo do Algarve!

Don’t want to run? You can also walk… The Air Force will provide you with that experience!

On July 1st, you have the unprecedented opportunity to race or walk on the same track where the best Formula 1 and MotoGP riders tested the limits of speed!

The walk will have a 5 km course and the run 10 km distance.

Don’t forget that the event is of a social nature, to participate we ask you to bring a donation of non-perishable goods.
